After several years of playing Guitar, Bass Guitar, and singing in various duos, trios, bands, top-40 bands, and variety bands, he formed "The Landsharks Band" with Sam Masielo and Ed Kartwatske, in Vero Beach, Florida.  The band became an instant hit in Vero Beach. The band began playing at Florida Nightclubs, Hotels, and parties, statewide, including 7 years at the Cocoa Beach Hilton on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.  During this time, several million people passed the Cocoa Beach Hilton stage and became familiar with the bands' "Landshark" Stage set up.  Eventually the band landed an audition in Walt Disney World at the "Rock and Roll Beach Club." Immediately, the band began playing regularly in Walt Disney World at conventions, concerts, festivals, and parties at venues including Pleasure Island, The Rock And Roll Beach Club, The Magic Kingdom, The Pleasure Island West End Stage, MGM Studios, The Swan Hotel and Resort, The Dolphin Hotel And Resort, The Grand Floridian Hotel, The Yacht And Beach Convention Center, The Disney Boardwalk, Coronado Springs, Key West, and at most other Disney properties.  Eventually, The Landsharks played almost every major venue in Orlando including Universal Studios, CITYWALK, Sea World, etc.  So, the band left Vero Beach and relocated to Orlando, Florida. After 10 years of playing almost every possible gig in Florida and establishing themselves on the Florida scene, the band began to gain a reputation for crack-musicianship combined with an interactive, fun show.  It was this combination that landed the band a headlining spot at The PHIP (Parrotheads In Paradise) Jimmy Buffett Fan Club stage when Jimmy Buffett showed up and joined the band onstage to perform an impromptu set.  After playing with the band, Buffett hired them to be his "house band" at the soon-to-be-opened Margaritaville Cafe in Orlando, Florida at Universal Studios, CITYWALK Entertainment complex. The band performed at Margaritaville, Orlando and in Key West for several years and were joined by Jimmy Buffett several times.  Mr. Buffett is legendary for his surprise, impromptu performances with the "local-Joes" band and has been known to show up to play in the most unlikely of places.  After 2 years at Universal Studios, the Landsharks began playing at large concerts, festivals, and events, everywhere.
